Fix Google and email login > Fix Percify sign-in problems: Google sign-in failing, being sent to Create account, a password that won't work, suspended accounts and sudden sign-outs. You can sign in to Percify at [app.percify.io/login](https://app.percify.io/login) with **Sign in with Google** or with your email and password. Most sign-in problems come from using a different method from the one you signed up with, or from trying Google sign-in inside the Instagram or Facebook app. Use the same method you signed up with, and open Percify in your phone's normal browser. ## How sign-in works * **Google:** press **Sign in with Google**. On the login and sign-up pages, Google may also show its own sign-in prompt. * **Email:** enter your email, press **Continue**, then enter your password and press **Sign in**. Passwords are 8 to 128 characters. * **Same email, both methods:** if you created an account with email and password, signing in with Google using the same address opens that same account. * Percify doesn't use sign-in links sent by email and doesn't ask you to verify your email before you sign in. ## Common problems and fixes ### After I enter my password, Percify takes me to Create account That happens when the email and password don't match an account. Check that: 1. **The email is exactly the one you signed up with.** Look for typos and for a different address you might have used. 2. **You didn't sign up with Google.** A Google account has no Percify password. Go back and use **Sign in with Google**. 3. **The password is right.** Passwords are case-sensitive. If you try to create the account again with the same email, you'll see **User already exists. Use another email.** That confirms the account exists. Go back to the login page instead. ### Google sign-in fails inside Instagram or Facebook Google sign-in often fails in the browsers built into the Instagram and Facebook apps. On a phone, the login page shows **Opened inside Instagram or Facebook? Google sign-in often fails in their browser.** * **Android:** tap **open this page in Chrome**. * **iPhone:** tap **•••** and choose **Open in browser**. * Or sign in with your email and password in the same window. ### "Failed to sign in with Google" or I'm back on the login page * Press **Sign in with Google** again and finish on Google's page without pressing your browser's Back button. Going back in the middle of sign-in cancels it. * If Percify shows **Signing you back in…**, wait. You're already signed in, and the app is taking you back. * If Google's own prompt doesn't appear, that's fine. Use the **Sign in with Google** button. ### "Too many requests. Please try again later." Too many sign-in attempts in a short time. Wait a few minutes before you try again, and check the email and password before you retry. ### "This account has been suspended." The account was suspended for breaking Percify's content policy or terms, and it can't sign in. If you think this is a mistake, email [support@percify.io](mailto:support@percify.io) from the address on the account. ### I keep getting signed out A Percify session lasts 7 days and is extended while you keep using the app. You'll be signed out if you don't use Percify for longer than that, if you clear your browser's cookies, or if you use a private window. ### I can't create an account * Passwords need at least 8 characters: **Password must be at least 8 characters**. * Disposable email addresses can't be used to sign up. * A plus address (such as `name+tag@example.com`) can't be used if the main address already has a Percify account. * If the address already has an account, sign in instead. ## I forgot my password If you signed up with Google, you don't have a password. Use **Sign in with Google**. If you signed up with email and can't remember your password, email [support@percify.io](mailto:support@percify.io) from the address on your account and ask for help getting back in. ## Still can't sign in?
