For every post Percify publishes to your connected accounts, it reads back the numbers the platform reports: views, likes, comments, shares, saves, reach and impressions. It records each post’s views at 24 hours, 3 days (72 hours) and 7 days, so posts of different ages compare fairly. The Analytics tab in Composer then ranks which kinds of play, plays, angles, times of day and weekdays get you views.

What is measured?

A platform that does not report a measure shows none; Percify does not fill gaps with estimates.

Which posts are tracked?

  • Posts published through Percify: New post on the Social tab, Autoschedule in Composer, and Autopilot. See scheduling.
  • Posts published in the last 60 days get fresh numbers.
Posts you publish yourself outside Percify, and files you download and upload elsewhere, are not tracked here. To compare posts on your own handles with the market, use the You tab on the brand’s Competitors page.

When are the numbers updated?

  • Every 3 hours for all brands.
  • When you open the Analytics tab in Composer, that brand is refreshed in the background, at most once every 30 minutes.

Where to see the results

Open your brand, go to Composer and pick the Analytics tab.
  • Pieces over time: planned, made, scheduled and posted per day, with the views that came in each day, over 7, 30 or 90 days.
  • Accounts: followers, views and likes for each connected account.
  • What performs: median views at 72 hours from your own posts, ranked by Kinds of play, Plays, Angles, Round pieces, Time of day and Weekday. Once a group has two posts it also shows its lift: its median as a multiple of your usual.
  • Recently scheduled and Calendar (month or week): every post with its views, likes and comments once it has them.
Time of day groups are Night (0 to 4), Morning (5 to 10), Midday (11 to 14), Afternoon (15 to 18) and Evening (19 to 23).

How Percify uses the results

  • The Composer wall deals the kinds of play that earn your brand views more often. A single lucky post nudges a kind; a pattern across several posts moves it.
  • New words for a play start from the angles that earned views.
  • Autopilot picks what to post from the same numbers, and keeps testing some slots with other kinds.

Daily email

When posts went out, Percify emails you the next morning (07:00 UTC) with every post published the day before, grouped by brand, account and platform, with a link to each one. It is sent with Percify’s marketing emails, so it carries an unsubscribe link and is not sent if you have unsubscribed.

FAQ

It ranks your own posts once they have views. Numbers arrive after the post is published and the next update runs, so a brand with no published posts, or posts only hours old, has nothing to rank.
Views at 72 hours are only recorded from a reading taken between 72 and 96 hours after publishing. A post first read after that keeps its lifetime views, and the rankings use those instead.
